E.Central MN | I think in this day of anti-farmer, global warming frenzy anyone who burns cornstalks just because its easier/saves a trip is an idiot. Sooner or later someone will get ticked off because of the nuisance smell of smoke in their house and down the pike will come more regulations on what we can and can't do in our fields. Its hard enough to get the public to have a positive view of farmers as professional businesses using good mgmt practices to produce food, we don't need more idiots that can't think beyond their field border. | |
