Subject: RE: What makes Iowa/Illinois soil so good?

Macon, IL
Central, IL, I have 9 different soil types on 260 conjoined acres. Some flat some rolling, some rocky, some clean. Ground that will grow 140-220bu corn depending on spot-with same hybrids and same fertility program. Someday if I could ever afford a variable rate planter would be great-but at least it keeps things interesting.
