Not enough info, FWIW - if your soils are such (clays etc), It's always been said any type of fall tillage (on heavy soilds) is better then spring tillage. Give it a try, if you can pull it and the chisel doens't fly apart from the frozen ground it should work. I know plowing works better with a little frost as far as not wrecking parts as compared to a chisel. There have been more plows pulled around here this fall then other methods and compared to other years. Looks like they all want the max yeild potintual for the high prices that are expected.
