dont quote me on this, but i understand kansas complained about okie's high guarantee and it was revised down from 73, which at 75 percent ra would guarantee 50 bpa. i think it went to something in the 40s so the ra factor would bring it down substantially. will it make a difference for some to try corn again, who knows.

and, plowboy, please forgive me for no caps in this post. i am typing with one hand after back surgery, holding myself up with one hand while pecking with the other.


I think it was still in the low 70's(according to my crop insurance agent), as I farm some ground in grant county, and I know I could have guaranteed me a price of $150+ per acre figuring on $3.00 bu corn.
