Most dealers are taking note and getting their tanks filled now instead of waiting around for spring. That will help things early but late in the summer supply will be short. The generic glyphosate game is the most screwed up one there is right now and it is changing everyday. The rumor mill has Atrazine becoming short as well. The best thing to do now is to keep in close contact with your dealer and make sure they have you covered. Don't be too quick to judge Monsanto just because they are big and control a lot of the market. They also manufacture a lot of off brand generic glyphosate in the market. The people that will be hurt the most by this are the growers that went away from dealers and to farm stores or internet to buy glyphosate. The loyal customers will more than likely have preference over the price shoppers if supply gets short. | |
