| I don't see sudden death syndrome mentioned as a planting date factor. I recall seeing university research date suggesting that early planting pre-disposes the beans to SDS. I've had SDS, considered the above-referrenced research, and now plant beans no earlier than 5/7-8. I read an article just last night in the Corn and Soybean Digest about the yield benefits of early beans from a farmer who doesn't think beans deserve a backseat to corn. Is the research that has influenced me now outdated with todays beans? jfg5 | |
