They should be able to give you a yes or a no as to whether 2 hybrids have the same female or same male.

What surprised me the first time I heard it discussed is that seed breeders from some companies share information.

Now don't get all bent out of shape. 

They did not say those words exactly, BUT when we would be talking about how our hybrid was doing against another companies hybrid of the same day length the seed breeders would express their opinion that the 2 hybrids had the same male and female as what we were selling.  Or They would say that they would make a call on Monday and find out.   

Now that was my most humblest of humble opinions.  ( and the poorest English I ever wrote)
