Subject: Re: Long Term Strip-Till

Central Missouri
The way I did it was I purchased crawlers ex Ontario from a bait supplier. They came in flats of 500 for $35. I drove my atv at 40 foot swaths and dropped 3 every 100' or there abouts. I did this in the fall early spring in wheat fields that I drilled into soybean residue. It helps to do it on damp cloudy days. It takes the crawlers about an hour to get under the residue. Very important that they have food and cover at all times. I seeded 15000 last year.
