I had to address that this year having a smaller unit that I didn't want to split the planter over. My dealer told me that a whole field could be planted to bt if there was also an appropriate refuge within a half mile. I had a couple of bigger fields within a half mile and added the total acreage putting the 20% on one of the bigger fields.
