Actually, you are the second guy I know this fall talk about this. One guy used to manage his family drying operation in NE Iowa and told me his brother put a Shivers type unload in his steeping bin. They had been using dryeration for a number of years and are trying to keep the steamy grain in one bin rather than have a number of bins to track. At the time we visited, he didn't say how it worked.
