| So far, I have been lucky that I didn't have to select RR corn because there are enough varieties around from different companies to avoid this. I believe a farmer should grow either RR corn or soybeans not both. RR soybeans makes more sense because once the crop canopies then there is no problem and in corn just you need to add a conventional herbicide anyways for residual control of velvetleaf so why not just replace the roundup with a conventional grass and broadleaf herbicide anyways. Crop damage is almost nill if spraying is performed at the optimum time so good management is needed whereas roundup is making more farmers more careless and poorer crop managers in my opinion.
