My tillage is done, so it matters not whether I plant beans or corn next year. If I could have planned ahead, I could have notilled the beans, but that would have limited my options, plus I prefer to grow corn.

I included $20/acre drying. We generally pick in the 17% range. We dont sidedress. I suppose there is more wear and tear with more bushels. 6 cents/bu trucking short range times 175 corn is $10/acre. 50 b/a beans times 6 cents is $3/acre. So $7 more for trucking alone. You have a point.
