I was a freshman in high school so I don't really remember a whole lot about the beans. In fact beans were not grown out here very much until the 80's. I remember Dad selling milo for $5.40cwt.....$3.02 / bu. Finally made that again here just in the past year. May have reached that in '96. That's not very much time over the past 35 years for a commodity to be where it is today.
