Goff Kansas | can't speak for other places, but in ne ks many a pile is covered now.. a few yrs ago you "saw" the corn everywhere, but now you see bunkers and white tarps. there are a few milo piles, which i heard the story of someone following one of the trucks hauling it to the elevator, smelled like an alcohol plant he said. talking to a couple grain brokers, and they feared poor grading corn moving in the next couple months, and basis might reflect that movement to the better if you have the better corn. don't know for sure yet.. | |
