Lapel, In | Just called my sister. She worked in banking for 40 years. Could have worked up to at least VP in one of the majors here. Didn't want the responsibnility even though she was well qualified ed with schooling etc.Turned them down several times.. She said banks can call a loan anytime they want regardless. Lots of things they can do to protect themselves including declaring a holiday like some did in 29-30 and even beyond. I don't think it is THAT bad yet, but watch the papers closely for unemployment reports. Probably the last thing they will think to lie about or quit reporting like they did with the money supply figures.
