Gee, can't leave this alone Chad. You wouldn't want to try to farm what I do, and I sure don't want to farm in your stuff. Every area has its easy and hard to farm fields and soil types. I have some ground that is hard to screw up and some that is hard to get just right. I learn more about my soils every season and have been farming some of it over 40 years

Many guys in my area have tried to start farming in a new county or state because it looked easy or the ground seemed cheaper. They out bid the farmers in that area for a reason, they didn't know what they were doing. Usually, they end up coming back home with their tale between their legs, and less that they left with.

The reason some guys make it look easy is becasue they have been at it more years than you are old. Farm yourself 25 or 30 years before you pass judgement on some one else,. and how easy they have it.
