north central Oklahoma | Prices may be going up a bit, but it should not effect the average food shopping budget. I know you have all witnessed it, but if not, go into any supercenter, WallyWorld comes to mind here, and observe what goes inot the average "food" shopping cart. I know not many of those shoppers categorize their shopping dollar at checkout to determine what is food and what is non-food, instead most consider that trip as a food shopping trip and will complain right along with those in the media about our "FOOD" costs going up. I have watched while the wife shopped before, and would estimate that far less than half of what is in most carts are food items, ie., mostly electronic game equipment, DVDs, the list goes on. We spend far more entertaining ourselves than we do sustaining life. | |
