E.Central MN | I agree that the average media listener pays attention when commodities go up rapidly and automatically assumes that is the primary reason store prices went up. Since the media doesn't bring up the issue when prices go down, the consumer doesn't even notice prices didn't change.
Did you see that some bigwig in MN trout fishing group wants the state to do an environmental impact report on ethanol because all that corn will hurt fish and wildlife......Guess if fish and wildlife are being impacted its time to stop harvesting them for a while, 10 years ought to do it. Suppose he was listening to the reporter that said corn is irrigated and uses too much water. Guess he doesn't drive around the state much to see that most of it depends on Mother Nature. | |
