Two problems are at hand:

1. Pics are too large to upload
2. Pics are in wrong orientation after upload

One solution for both problems.......super easy

You need the " Image Shrink Lite" app.....available in the Play Store....free for Lite version

Once installed, it's business as usuall for attaching pics to a post with one exception...

Once you click on the "Choose File" button..... don't go to the Gallery right away

Click on Image Shrink first...then click on Gallery
Choose the pic you want to attach.....a menu will pop up with various image sizes
Choose the one you like....600x800 is good
Once you have done that, you need to click the Submit button in the NAT window like you've always done.
Once you have all the pics uploaded that you want... click I'm Done. Click to Post.

Done

Doing this will shrink the pic and it will always be in the upright position. 

I have no experience with iphones or ipads. I assume a similar app is available. Maybe somone can post instructions.
