| I use a 6 inch convey air to fill harvestore silos. I dont think I would use plastic pipe inside the 9 inch silo pipe because of static electricity. We put 6inch aluminum pipe inside the silo pipe until it hits the goose neck. The corn will travel the rest of the way around the goose neck from the velocity . Some silos have enclosed goose necks you will need this because some kernals will bounce out. If you dont have one I have used old feed bags and bunge cords to keep corn in the goose neck. Another thing to keep in mind is this was on a 20foot silo, Harvestor did make some 25Foot diameter silos. Height isnt a concern have filled 80foot silos. | |
