South-central Nebraska | Both my personal agronomist and the local Pioneer agronomist swear a lb of N is a lb of N. I am educated in Agronomy as well, but I go back and forth on benefits from liquid verses NH3. I hear it every year around here, some of the liquid users wish they used NH3 and some NH3 users wish liquid. I'm hoping the fall NH3 application which opened the ground up and did some tillage will help things get up and growing better especially if cold and damp. But last year with all of the early rains, the NH3 fields had excessive erosion where the knives went. | |
