Subject: Re: Coup, Last year...

USA
I didn't use any last year, all that was available last year was for testing purposes, tried my darndest to get some, as I have some ALS resistant Shattercane.
The 2 oz Laudis , 1/4 oz Impact is what I am going to use this year if I can get my hands on some. Bayer really screwed up big time on the supply of Laudis this year. Talked to a Bayer rep that is getting 30,000 acres of Laudis for his territory that has 1.5 million acres of corn raised in it.

The reason I am using the 2 oz rate this year is to stretch the supply of Laudis. Imo it will be ok with the 1/4 oz of Impact. 2 oz Laudis would be a 2/3 rate and 1/4 oz Impact would = 1/3 rate of Impact.

A full rate of Laudis should run about half the cost of a Steadfast- Callisto program, with a lot better crop safety. They had a research plot where they applied 10 times the rate of Laudis with no sign of injury to the corn. Laudis is the best corn chemical to come on the market in years.
