When I bought the 1482 PT combine it had a Harvest fixed air foil chaffer in it. I used it that fall to harvest sunflower and thought it did an excellent job. a friend of mine also bought a 1482 with harvest chaffer the next year and asked me to help him get it set up. I looked in the back of his machine and noticed his chaffer looked different. His was installed with the holes up,while mine had the fins up. I said Kim,I think your chaffer is in upside down, mine must be right because it works so good. A look at the Harvest sales booklet told that MINE was the one in upside down. I installed it the correct way and found that it was actually harder to blow sunflower out the back with the thing in upside down :)
