Subject: RE: Pros and cons of John Deere ILS

Nth New South Wales Australia

We have an 05 8420 that has 850 hrs on.ILS was one of the selling points for me as ours does a lot of spraying and does back up as a planting tractor when not spraying. The ILS certainly helps at 20km/hr speeds and we also carry a 1500 litre solution tank on front as a nurse tank for sprayer,it carries that well.

When planting it pulls a 52 ft Morris on Knife points with no problems, fuel per acre works out same as the TJ 450 at around 3.5-4 litres/ha.
