Thanks kindly for the jab, although I'd prefer you not group "you farmers" all into one category. After all haven't you "farmed for forty years" yourself? I've seen the web pages you refer to and know there's a few that pull in a lot of bucks from uncle sam. Maybe that makes them rich, maybe it doesn't, but it certainly doesn't make us all rich. Compare those payments to cost of production, machinery, land, etc and you'll see that while it helps out, it certainly hasn't made me "rich." Of course farming for over forty years, you knew that already.
