Corn: 93.6 million acres planted (151.1 Average yield) - Estimated carry: 1438
Beans: 63.6 million acres planted (41.2 Average yield) - Estimated carry: 41.2
As a side note on corn: Northern Illinois grew the best corn that we have ever grown. Our state average was around 170. How often will this happen?
I was and have been somewhat bearish, but I am starting to change my mind. Unless something drastic happens to slow down demand (and these higher prices could do it), it seems that the direction will remain bullish. They are already stressing weather concerns in Argentina and Brazil. What if we have a weather issue at home? | |
