Spring wheat basis Europort was higher, however the early call I have received is July Corn opening on the night session in the range of 514-516, wheat -5 to -6 & beans -10. Too early yet for any refined call. If the wheat & bean market can hold by tomorrow's close, in view of all this turmoil...it will reflect an unusually strong undertone. I have strong doubts, however. I doubt the politicians can act quickly enough to prevent a jolt here. In 1987, it required a major break to get the attention of that administration.
