| NO. Referring to futures. If you total the speculative longs (chicago) vs. the shorts, there are not enough spec. longs to offset the shorts, commercials own them. On the other hand, I don't think there is much old crop wheat left in producer hands; however, if the producer sells a sufficient amount & the commercials liquidate their long hedges in an orderly way it means zip...but, if some new business comes in yet in old crop SRW & producer selling is slow....could yet be some fireworks. We are so low on wheat inventories, particularly SRW, the market is not in a position for any sudden demand surprises. | |
