north central Oklahoma | I hear the same thing on inputs, at least the local manager hears of a softening late winter on "N" prices. I haven't purchased any yet either. I have emailed SC on what his thoughts are on re-owing the corn I just picked, Local prices have zero basis and is attractive to go ahead and market, but would like to re-own and take a little risk on a possible rally, and being a producer, am a perpetual bull, ha. Consider re-owing with some closer calls. Sounds like you would go the opposite, and re-own with puts after selling grain. What say you.? | |
