I do not lease out land for hunting, but there is a lumber company not too far from me that owns 1000's of acres. It all used to be signed up in "forest crop", where in exchange for stupid-low taxes(like $1 or less/A) it would be open for public use. The last couple years, they have been taking their land out of that program and leasing it to hunters for $40/A and up. They have a waiting list of hunters that want to lease as soon as the timber co. can get their paperwork done.
