I know some boys-not well- but are loaded with 1031 $$$ & have been picking up acreage quite a ways west of chicago & paying very high prices & simply do not care as they feel it will remain in their estates & with the trend of work-at-home...feel it will eventually be developed. Their land bank as they call it.
