Glasgow, Ky | Went to a farm (or should I say land) auction recently. Marginal land. had no intention of bidding. Got to looking at the road frontage and location of it and thought it was selling too cheap. Had several parcels bought until it was combined and eventually sold to a doctor.
Heard several comments about it not being worth that. Not very good farmland. House wasn't much good. It is just a matter of your perspective when bidding. It was not worth what it brought as farmland but the location and road frontage made it an excellent buy as investment property.
Guess value is in the eye of the beholder. Farmland or investment. | |
