I don't think that the timing makes any difference. One of my winter projects is to have the crew examine every driveline joint and replace any that are worn. I rarely ever replace one during the season now. A more durable drive line option would be the round disk's. I buy complete drive lines from a local dealer that builds them.

How are the Mach II wheels working out? They look interesting to me. I like the idea of no more flats.
