Glasgow, Ky | Like I said in my post regarding bean acres in the southeast US it looks like the numbers will be up significantly. Just basing it on comments I am hearing about seed beans being in short supply, less money to put the crop out, cattle being sold and sod ground going to corn or beans and the fact that bean yields are typically better than corn in many parts of the SE.
Not hearing that much about reduction in corn acres. Just new ground that was being used for hay, pasture and crops other than grain coming into play.
Wonder at what level of acreage and production we would see the wheels fall off the market or at least start wobbling a little? | |
