Lapel, In | I don't think the March planting intentions report will tell the story even then. As I have stated before there are hundreds of thousands of acres that could go to corn or beans. It will depend on what prices of each crop do in the next 60 days. If livestock liquidation continues at present rates there will be less demand this fall for corn, but the shortfall in corn demand could easily be swallowed up by a short crop and/or larger export demand. I think the only thing we can be sure of is a lot more volatility into 09. Maybe 7& 7, Illini fan? And I am not talking about whiskey and soda pop. That's my story and I am sticking to it.lol. | |
