durallymax - 3/11/2013 17:57 I prefer flat mode because it is the "ISO" of the forum community.
Try a different view. We feel that the "Flat" view is the absolute worst forum view there is. Thread and Nested make it much easier to follow threads in the order in which they flow. This software has the bubble up to the top feature. It has been tried. It was an absolute disaster. This forum moves much to fast during peak hours. A new post would be made and would instantly be on page 2 before anyone could reply to it. If you came back looking for a particular thread, you had no idea where to find it.

On this forum it is terrible. If the post number was hyperlinked it would be fine. I use it because I do not like clicking on each and every post and do not like it when the posts are not in order according to time. It adds confusion. Its like the US measuring system versus metric in the rest of the world. Guess im the outsider/odd one out.

If the posts are moving away too quickly for peoples likings thats usually a good time to add subcategories. Combines, Tractors, Trucks/Trailers, Forage, Tillage, Shop is a good start.

I don't see how it is easier to find a thread the way it is not than if they were in order of most recent post. How is it organixed now. I am curious, It doesnt make sense to me. It seems some threads move to the front, or maybe its just people posting repeat threads. Another reason for subcategories.

Im not trying to come off rude. Its just a very hard forum to follow quickly.
