It would be great to have a CNG vehicle, cost would be much lower than gasoline at current prices. BUT, you would need a $4500 compressor at your house, (if you had NG there) and special fuel tanks in the vehicle that can handle really high pressures. Not sure how you would handle road taxes, if at all. But I am sure if this became widespread, the tax man would come up with some fool proof method, such as a special meter read by the gas company to keep everyone on the straight and narrow.
