Center of IL | Grains may go down today but I dont see some huge collapse. All the negative economy talk on here makes you want to sell out and run for the hills. Definitly not put $ in the bank. The dollar is down, oil is still high. What would be the reasoning? If they(funds) sell out, they will probably be back in soon. If the grains collapse, it will be a multimarket, economy, depression type collapse. At least in my worthless opinion. I think in the long run the goverment will do something to get these houses moving again. Low interest loans, etc. I think if inflation gets out of hand they may outlaw fund speculation. 1 or 2 retirement funds gone broke will see to that. Maybe even better would be a huge tax on fund speculation and some tariffs on cheap labor. | |
