Subject: RE: clutch adjustment on semi w/pics

It looks like your clutch brake is gone to me. It should be a seperate piece that will slide on the input shaft. It should be about a half inch thick. How's the pedal freeplay? Has the Linkage been adjusted to set to obtain freeplay in the past? If the pedal has the proper freeplay and the linkage hasn't been adjusted the brake needs to be replaced. Measure the input shaft and go to a truck parts store and get one that looks like 2 c's that will seperate so you get it around the shaft. Pinch it back together on the shaft and then a roll pin holds it together. The one I have used were made by Midland.
