Subject: I've had two.

South Texas
Ford 4500 and now JD 300B. With luck and the money you've available, you can get a nicer unit. My intent is simply to affirm that once you have one, you just keep finding more uses for it and hate to give it up.

I found the usual road tread tires, (pavement tires or whatever they're called) pretty much useless when it gets the least bit greasy. They are sturdy, but the tread just isn't made for farm dirt and conditions. I finally added chains to my 300, but I'm thinkin' regular ag tires would have been a better choice. Maybe 4WD takes care of the problem?

4 in 1 is invaluable. While I never could get on on those two TLB units, I'm having one built for my older Model 540 "BobKitty." (Small Bobcat.) The difference between a TLB with a 4 in 1 and not is the difference in your hand with a thumb and not.

Best of luck with your choice. Stetts
