The only impact of lower crude in the spot grains & oilseeds is a lower transportation cost in terms of bunker costs. Therefore, this spot relationship will either rise or fall based upon demand for the product. The demand run may be over. Don’t know, but I do make my margin calls if needed and at my age I relish the occasional shot of adrenalin if I suffer for a few days.

i beg to differ.. what has been the ultimate driver of higher corn and beans? bio-fuels bio-diesal plants are already going bankrupt because they cant make it work with the current pricing. and if we really do slowdown, the gasoline supply (oversupply) will make the situation much worse. bulls got a temporary reprieve in a freak chinese blizzard. dont make it more than it is.

food inflation headlines in the election run wont be tolerated much longer
