With 180 dollars rent and high yields the cost of production is over $3 /bu so I see where guest is coming from.
I have seen no forward contract, HTA or other marketing scheme predicted to pay enough to make what I call a decent profit which is not much.
The basis is high, better for 07 and 08 forward but not over $3 cash input for example.
