se wi | We're planning on seeding down 40 acres of alfalfa this spring with oats for grain as a companion crop. However the HRS wheat price has my attention. I've found the wheat protien level must be 13.5% or higher to be marketable. Can alfalfa be seeded successfully with HRS wheat for grain, and will the protein level be kept high enough to sell? How do you feed a spring wheat crop for high protein in sowi? thanks tom | |
