IL. | well this is a loaded question but here goes, We use a dry pop-up on our corn we are no-till and have been for many yrs. we like a starter it seems to get the corn up a little faster which in turn gets it to harvest faster, it seems to be a little dryer at harvest(only can compare to neighbors since we totally no-till) most guys dont have the time to spend filling fertilizer hoppers but it works for us. not all practices work all over u need to ask around your area and see what works. hope I help at least a little.
