Subject: Fertilizing low testing, rented ground

Scranton
Rented some ground on a three year deal, reasonable rent. State ground. Gets rebid every three years. Talked to local agronomist, he said previous tentant put zero P and K on past six to ten years. Ground is froze, so no soil tests for another month.

I was thinking about putting on a 19-50-50 each spring(all corn every year) for three years. Would I have most of what I need to grow a crop from that? Any other ideas?
