we went with a 116rm (i think) 6019dekalb and it has shown in the past from other locals that the 95-116 RM has good heat tolorance and matures in a timely manner within a few days of the shorter varieties but yeilds a little better as long as the freeze dosen't get it. our seed dealer said that the varieties in the 95-116 said that they will accumulate GDU's just as fast as the earlier RM's because these seeds were bred in our area.
