I usually keep the ground seeded to alfalfa 7-8 years then rotate into corn. Here in WC Iowa good alfalfa hay is going from 120-160/ton. Small squares of good quality alfala are going for $10 a bale at the local auction. Lot of hay ground is being ripped up to go to corn. | |
