Fine by me. I doubt there's many in a better position to go without farm program payments than someone like me. I've been getting $9 for organic corn.
That said, the facts remain that we'll most likely have a program. And if we do I WILL be accepting any payments offered. Thus, it is part of my business plan to figure what payments are coming when into my cash flow.
Funny how everyone wants to tell us to run our farm like a business until........
