The LDP payments in the past were a lifesaver for me. I think that my $40 crop insurance premium would be a major crippler with out the govt.sub. Ya the prices of our commodities are great now,but when things balance back to the profit margins that we are used to {2 or 3 yr. train wreck? } I would hope that there is some kind of safety net. I would love to do my bussiness without govt.sub.,but it seens everyone wants a piece of the pie and our piece of the pie is the last one(albeit sometimes small).
