Here's what we have done with good success. Double the labeled rate of Maverick after you see the first growth of Johnson grass coming after warm up. It is entirely off label, but known by the dealers to be affective. Will kill standing JG, and keep same from poking it's head the rest of season. Will not hurt bermudagrass at all. We didn't have the JG pressure the following year and did not apply the second year. Is residual that long or did it get it all with one app, dunno, guess we will see this spring.
